In “Calling All Frequent Flyers,” Greene proposes a new system for dealing with what he calls “frequent flyers”: students who must frequently see school administration for disciplinary issues. His proposed system, called Collaborative Problem Solving, reconsiders school discipline by asking educators to think critically about why and when students are challenging and to use that information to work collaboratively with the specific student in question to create a solution to the challenging behavior.
