Over the past month we have had the opportunity to host Chalk Talks with schools and districts in the Epic School Partnerships network. The chalk talk is intended to be an unscripted description of an educational practice that provides participants with an in-depth understanding of why you do something, as well as a very brief description of how or what you actually do. This protocol is designed to allow people to get a glimpse of an innovative practice, process, initiative, etc., with a clear emphasis on understanding why you would want to do it or engage in it.

There are so many innovative practices that are having success and making change on the ground, and it’s inspiring to see these successes shared with folks who can consider implementing or learning from these strategies. We look forward to continuing to facilitate this sharing of information over the coming months–stay tuned for more specific examples of the innovative practices and initiatives that are getting us so excited.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
