Ling is a Facilitator with Inflexion’s Portico team, bringing a passion for education and a deep commitment to working with communities furthest from opportunity. Before joining Inflexion, she spent most of her career in the nonprofit sector, teaching adjudicated youth and young people affected by familial incarceration. In previous roles, she led trainings and workshops for adult learners and school leaders with a focus on trauma-informed care. Their background in this work continues to ground their perspective, fostering a strong trauma-informed and equity-centered lens in all that they do.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Ling now calls Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home, where she lives with her partner and their dog, Stroopwafel—Stroop for short. Outside of work, they enjoy cooking, crocheting, collecting new plants, and traveling. You can often catch glimpses of Stroop making a cameo in the background of Zoom meetings!
